Murphy welcomes Andy Waghorn to J. Murphy & Sons Limited (Murphy) as director of ground engineering.
Andy brings with him over 15 years' of experience within the UK and Australian piling industries. Most recently he was managing director of the piling division at Van Elle Ltd, where he oversaw all divisional functional departments and systems, ensuring health and safety standards were met, delivering year-on-year turnover and profit growth.
He is highly qualified with a BSc (Hons) in geology and geography, an MSc in geotechnical engineering and management and an MBA with CMI chartered manager status.
Andy will lead the consolidation of Murphy’s piling divisions and the growth of the company’s piling and ground engineering capability in the UK and Ireland. He joined Murphy at the start of this month.
